Tammy Thielman, BSW, MSW, RSW, EMDR-CT
Tammy provides individual and focused counselling for Trauma/Abuse, Inter-generational Trauma, PTSD, Complex-PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, Autism Spectrum-related mental health, Perinatal Mental Health, Grief and Loss, Adjustment Issues, Attachment Injury and Repair and more.
- Tammy is a registered member of the BC College of Social Workers, a member of the Canadian Association of Social Workers, a member of EMDR Canada and Pro-Equine Facilitated Wellness Canada. Tammy is a First Nations Health Authority Approved Mental Health Provider, and a provider for Autism BC, Crime Victims Assistance Program and Veterans Affairs Canada.
Tammy works with CHILDREN UNDER 10, youth, adults and families. Tammy offers traditional office-based counselling as well as Equine Facilitated Therapy (EFT) and Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT). Children’s sessions are play-based, attachment-focused and can include age-appropriate EMDR through interactive approaches. Traditional counselling sessions are held outside, in the counselling cabin, by phone or tele-health.
All sessions take place in the TCC program area, that includes horse corrals and forest paths, and in the counselling cabin at Pine Ridge Farm, surrounded by the nature, peace and harmony of Larch Hills. You can view pictures of the location on the photos page.
